The Laboratory is a specialized unit and organized as a independent part of GRANIT’s structure since 1963. Based on its duties and delegations, the Laboratory with its own calibrated laboratory equipment and competent and skilled staff undertakes all required activities in order to monitor the quality work done by GRANIT. It has broad experience to work with different quality standards according of the requirements in the Technical Specification from the Contract documentation, which varies from the national standards from country to country. Granit’s Laboratory is organized with five departments. -Geotechnical Department-Concrete Department-Asphalt Department-R&D Department-Chemical Department With its highly professional engagement of its laboratory Engineers and Technicians, this unit is involved in all necessary investigation works, laboratory testing, evaluation of the lab results  and preparing detailed reports in order to check and prove (QC/QA)  the quality of earthworks, concrete works, asphalt works for all civil works that Granit engaged to contract in Macedonia and abroad. The Laboratory staff is experienced to preform quality control tests in accordance to different standards such as BS, AASHTO, EN, MKS and from June 2004 it has implemented ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
