The design is part of a new boulevard solution for the Ljubljanska Str. The construction works started actively during 2022. The bridge is of the so-called “extradosed bridge” type, which is a combination of a bridge with box girders and external cable construction and will be the most representative structure along the newly planned Ljubljanska boulevard, which will connect the Karposh neighborhood with the neighborhoods Bardovci and Zlokukjani.

On 26.02.2020 GD Granit AD Skopje signed a contract with the City of Skopje for Construction of blvd. ASNOM – Second phase: from street „Vasko Karangelevski“ to street „Industriska 1“ from km 0+834,69 to km 1+233,94.

GD GRANIT AD SKOPJE is proud to announce that the section of the Motorway Banja Luka – Doboj, Banja Luka – Prnjavor, was put into operation on Tuesday, 02.10.2018, continuing the section Prnjavor – Doboj which was opened on 11.09.2016, finalizing the construction of the Motorway 9 Januar, connecting the two largest towns in Republika Srpska and uniting more than a half of the local economy of this little country.

At least 2.5 million m3 of embankment, 1 million m3 of excavation, about 60 billion m3 of concrete, 900 billion m3 of asphalt are the figures that measure the success of the largest Macedonian construction company on this project. In the past 4 years, as long as the construction of this section of the motorway lasted, we built 1 viaduct from 466 m, 11 bridges, 2 carriages and 7 overpasses, 9 km regulation of river bed, we stopped and slaughtered 2 landslides, we made a support structure of 400 m, we built fast and reliable motorway, with a smart signaling and control center, at the level of every modern motorway in western Europe.

Construction of a regional road R2138 as part of the connection to the regional road R2134, towards the settlement Soncev Grad.

The Working Unit Kicevo – Ohrid is established by the decision of the Management Board of Granit in May 2014, in order to construct the Motorway Kicevo – Ohrid, section Kicevo – Podvis.

According to the Contract for construction of the Motorway:
– Granit Construction Stock Co. is nominated subcontractor;
– Sinohydro Corporation Limited is Main Contractor
– Consorcium GIM, Euroconsulting and Geing Krebs und Kiefer is Engineer;
– Public Enterprise for state roads is Employer.

The total price of the Contract for construction of the Motorway Kicevo – Ohrid, section Kicevo – Podvis is 117.609.360,15 euro.
Reinforced concrete works of the Motorway participate with more than 60% in the total price of the Contract for construction of the Motorway.

The time period for completion is 38 months from the commencement date.

Section Kicevo – Podvis consists of the following structures:
12 viaducts with prestressed beam girders, with total length of 3,60 km in both directions;
2 viaducts with balanced cantilevered method of construction, with total length of 1,80 km
2 overpasses
1 underpass with an interchange on the Motorway
Retaining walls with total length of 1,35 km

The critical points on the critical path of the Motorway Kicevo – Ohrid, section Kicevo – Podvis are the viaducts with balanced cantilevered method of construction, located at km 6+860 and km 9+105
